Paper Types and GSM*

All our multi-page products (photo books, calendars, photo journals) are printed on white, light, semi-matte coated Silk paper. We list its weight in gsm – grams per square meter – which also reflects the thickness and stiffness of the paper.

However, photo cards and some other products may be printed on alternative, thicker and stiffer papers – such as cardboard or synthetic (plastic) paper.
For example, 280 gsm cardboard has the same stiffness as 400 gsm Silk paper. That’s why, in such cases, we list the relative gsm (e.g. 400 gsm*), to better indicate how sturdy the material feels.
